Love-In-Motion: Wedding Videos We Love from Around the World

Here is an awesome wedding video from Dallas, Texas that we came across recently. The company that produced it is called copper penny films and they do an awesome job at capturing some phenomenal video AND audio. We were struck by the clarity of the vows when we first started watching this wedding video, but we were equally as impressed by the footage we saw. One of the most important things to consider when hiring a wedding videographer is ensuring that they have the right gear and a working knowledge of both video and audio recording — capturing clean audio is HUGE to the overall quality of the finished product! Anyways, back to this wedding video, we felt like we were sitting in the most serene, rural forest when the clip started playing. Seriously, just close your eyes and press play and tell us you’re not relaxed when you hear the birds chirping! Another great quality about this wedding video is the fact that everything appears to be so incredibly calm. So often we film weddings and it is absolute mad chaos, but another important job of a talented cinematographer is to tell the story in a way that positively reflects what the wedding was all about. At the end of the day no one wants to remember the stress that came with the last minute planning or decorating! First and foremost, we have never met the folks at the XOXO Wedding Studio nor do we know the couple in the film. But one thing we do know: THIS WEDDING VIDEO ROCKS! Why did we pick this video for our first Love-in-Motion featured wedding video? Well for starters, one reason could be the fact that they use one of our favorite songs — “Disarm” — from the ever-so-talented artist, Ben Rector. We just dig his music and style! Another reason may be the fact that the very first shot and several more throughout the video showcases what appears to be a magnificent golf course where the wedding was held (we love golf courses…both playing and filming on them!). And yet another reason may be the fact that the groom (Matt) served in the United States Navy (we love those who have served for our freedom). Then there’s the fact that the composition, color grading, and structure are all similar to our creative wedding video approach here in Kentucky. But what really won us over was the simple fact that it’s all of those things. This wedding video is just good. Really good. It’s an honor to give a professional “shout-out” from Reel Special Productions to the folks at XOXO Wedding Studio in Carlsbad, California, and let them know that we can appreciate a really good wedding video when we see one.
