Blake and Meredith were married on December 10, 2016, at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina, and chose Reel Special Productions to capture their wedding video. Check it out below.

Blake and Meredith's Biltmore wedding video.

Blake and Meredith chose the Biltmore Estate for their destination wedding in December.

Blake and Meredith. There really aren’t words for these two. Their relationship is pretty incredible and their love for their friends and family is beyond describable. After several years of dating, these two fell head over heels in love with one another, and today their passions and personalities have helped make them the perfect pair. You can’t help but love them!

We met with Blake and Meredith to learn more about their wedding day plans and they shared their plans to have a destination wedding at the Biltmore Estate, the largest private residence in the United States and a popular tourist attraction in Asheville, North Carolina. We were so excited! With the Christmas season approaching, we couldn’t think of a better place than the Biltmore to film a beautiful winter wedding and we were so grateful they asked us to film their wedding video!

Asheville, North Carolina holds a special place in the hearts of Meredith and her family. Meredith’s mom grew up in the charming town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and it’s where her grandmother still lives, so having a wedding in Asheville seemed only fitting and quite like home. And making it feel like home was something that was clearly important to both Blake and Meredith. When we opened the door to our hotel room, we had the sweetest note from Meredith along with the most delicious chocolate-dipped strawberries! The couple also assembled gift bags for us and many other wedding guests that included Kentucky-themed treats like Ale-8-One and Grippos!

Meredith and her bridesmaids got ready at the Windsor hotel in downtown Asheville, North Carolina.

We loved taking some time to explore the Biltmore property when we first arrived, but we didn’t have long before we headed over to the rehearsal dinner which was held at the Biltmore Forest Country Club. Again, we were greeted with the warmest hospitality and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. As dinner wrapped up, several of the couple’s closest loved ones shared toasts with everyone and it was SO special! While we couldn’t put them all in the wedding video highlights posted here, each one was incredibly heartfelt and thoughtful (and they will definitely be included in the couple’s full wedding video shared privately with them and their loved ones). Tears and smiles were abundant and we just loved soaking it all in. We couldn’t think of a better way to start this amazing wedding weekend!

Early the next morning, Ryan set his alarm and arose at sunrise to venture out and film around the 8,000 acre property. He captured some amazing footage for the wedding video showing hidden treasures around the Biltmore Estate. The wildlife was plentiful and the beauty of the landscape was surreal, even for wintertime. With thousands upon thousands of acres it’s nearly impossible to take it all in with one visit, but you can see from the wedding video footage that this place is something truly special. We had butterflies in our stomachs thinking about the day ahead and couldn’t wait to be with Blake and Meredith!

Coming all the way from Lexington, Kentucky, we sure loved seeing plenty of beautiful horses at the Biltmore Estate.

Later that morning we arrived at The Windsor Hotel in downtown Asheville where Meredith and her bridesmaids were getting ready. All the girls were wearing the most adorable monogrammed onesie pajamas and were sharing sweet laughs and mimosas. Meredith was so calm and relaxed while getting her hair and makeup done. Her giddiness was evident and she was oh-so adorable…you could tell this girl was ready to marry her groom! We loved being able to capture so many sweet moments of Meredith and her mom for the wedding video. This momma loves her girl and it was definitely evident throughout the day! Once Meredith’s hair and makeup were complete, she stepped into her gorgeous white Hayley Paige gown. This dress looked like it was made perfectly for Meredith, and the sparkle was accented by the most stunning earrings and bracelet which were hand-delivered to Meredith by her dear friend, Sheila Bayes.

While the girls were getting ready, Blake and his groomsmen were just down the road at the Grand Bohemian Hotel which sits directly across from the Biltmore Estate main entrance. Ryan filmed the groomsmen getting ready and was able to capture some quick shots of Blake’s details, then filmed the guys as they donned their bowties and tuxes. They looked sharp! Blake finished writing his letter to Meredith, shared a celebratory toast with his best friends, then headed out the door to make his way over to the Biltmore.

We had to be pretty strategic while taking photos and shooting video of both the guys and girls because Blake and Meredith did not want to see each other before the ceremony. We were able to get plenty of good footage then made our way up to the ceremony site and got setup.

Guests arrived literally from all over the world to attend this incredible Biltmore wedding and when the ceremony got underway, nearly everyone was brought to tears when Blake and Meredith saw each other for the first time. The excitement and overwhelming happiness with Blake’s reaction to seeing his bride was one of the most precious things we’ve ever captured!

God delivered a spectacular sunset as Blake and Meredith tied the knot, and the officiant shared beautiful words to the bride and groom as they stood before their friends and family. As their first act as husband and wife, Blake and Meredith shared communion with one another, and just as the sun fell behind the mountainous horizon the newlyweds were introduced as “Mister and Mrs. Blake Ferguson!” It was one of the most perfect moments we’ve ever captured with the beautiful Biltmore mansion in the background!

The wedding reception was held in a beautiful white tent conveniently located directly behind where the ceremony took place at the exquisite Diana venue at the Biltmore. As Blake and Meredith were introduced, they walked and Blake directed Meredith’s attention to the roof of the tent where a rainbow appeared. Ever since her Dad passed away, rainbows were a visible reminder to Meredith that he was still close by. It turns out the bright rainbow glowing on the roof of the tent was no accident; Blake had arranged this precious gift for Meredith so she would see it as they walked in and know that her Dad was with them on their wedding day.

As the reception continued, the newlyweds made their way to the dance floor for their first dance and suddenly broke into an epic choreographed number! Raise your hand if you just want to be this couple…they were seriously the cutest! The rest of the reception was filled with fun, food, drinks, a photo booth, and everyone dancing late into the evening. This unforgettable event concluded with Blake and Meredith departing through a sparkler send-off while the Biltmore mansion and magnificent Christmas tree illuminated the night sky behind them. It was beyond dreamy!
