Chris and Sara Jill were married on July 20, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Lexington, Kentucky and chose Reel Special Productions to capture their wedding video. Check it out below.
This one is special for us. It was a little over two years ago when we met Sara Jill through Simply Love Studio. Since then, we have become friends with Chris and Sara Jill and have enjoyed getting to know them and capturing their love story as well as their wedding video.
Lexington is special to the bride and groom. Chris and Sara Jill both graduated from the University of Kentucky and Sara Jill’s father is a former UK football player. It was only fitting that their wedding was held in Lexington.
Sara Jill started her preparations early that morning by getting her hair and makeup done inside a suite at the Hilton. The wedding video captured by Reel Special Productions showed special moments of her getting ready before she and Chris met for the first look at Triangle Park.
The ceremony was held at First United Methodist Church downtown. This venue works especially well for wedding videos and photography because of the intimate design of the sanctuary. During the ceremony, Sara Jill and Chris braided three strands to represent the bible verse from Ecclesiastes 4:12, “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” It was a beautiful ceremony filled with God’s love and their love for one another.
The reception was held at The Hilary J. Boone Center , located in the heart of the university’s campus. Inside was elegantly decorated with beautiful flowers and unique pieces that represented Chris and Sara Jill. Their love for traveling was apparent as pictures from various trips decorated the tables. Seeing that they will honeymoon in Tahiti it was more than perfect to capture the amazingly crafted UK Bungalow designed by Tinker’s Cake Shop on their wedding video. The night was filled with precious family moments and fun interactions in the photo booth.
Chris and Sara Jill are an incredible couple. Their love for each other shines when they are together and we feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to film their wedding video.
