John and Laura Beth were married on June 17, 2017, in Lexington, Kentucky, and chose Reel Special Productions to capture their wedding video. Check it out below.

lexington country club wedding - Wedding video by Reel Special

John and Laura Beth started their wedding day preparations at the beautiful Lexington Country Club.

John and Laura Beth are two of the SWEETEST people you’ll ever meet. They’re the kind of couple that make you feel like you’ve known each other for years…the kind of couple that lights up a room and makes you feel super happy by just being around them. Their love for one another is so evident and we were beyond excited when they asked us to film their wedding video. It seemed as though their wedding couldn’t get here fast enough, but goodness, we were counting down the days along with this sweet bride and groom! We couldn’t wait to be a part this day with an incredible line up of Lexington’s finest vendors.

We first arrived at the Lexington Country Club where the bridal party was getting ready. The PinkLouLou girls were all in tow glamming Laura Beth and her bridesmaids. Champagne bottles were popped, glasses were poured and the girls were swooning over this stunning bride as Dana did her hair and makeup. The mood was definitely full of smiles, laughs and sweet moments together. We absolutely loved how happy Laura Beth was the entire day. She was a dream to work with and we were so honored to be there filming her wedding video! While Brittany stayed around to film the girls, Ryan was over with John and his groomsmen as they were getting ready.

Before we knew it, Laura Beth was stepping into her beautiful wedding dress and on her way to see her groom for their first look. I mean, did you see their reaction to one another on the wedding video? It was absolutely priceless! Laura Beth was so giddy and John could not wipe the smile off his face. He could not get over the sight before his eyes and kept hugging his beautiful bride. You all! It was so precious!

Shortly after the first look, they were ready to take photos around the immaculate property at Lexington Country Club. We loved working alongside our favorite photography husband and wife duo and besties, Matt and Kelsey Malicote. It was a scorcher of a day, but luckily we found the perfect shaded area for some photos and video along the golf course.

Kentucky wedding ideas - Wedding video by Reel Special

These Kentucky newlyweds are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet.

The ceremony was held at Cathedral of Christ the King. We had just recently filmed a wedding here, so we felt confident with the footage we needed to get for the wedding video. Guests literally filled every aisle of this beautiful space to watch John and Laura Beth get married. The music and special touches made for a wonderful ceremony and we especially loved when the priest sang a line from our favorite Bob Dylan song (covered by Garth Brooks and again by Adele) “To Make You Feel My Love.” (A little side note: this was our first dance as husband and wife nearly seven years ago, so you know we were both tearing up and giving each other the happy cry faces at this point during the ceremony!) The message the priest gave was touching and before we knew it, these two were sealing their vows with a kiss all before being announced as the newly Mr. and Mrs. John Shannon Saunier.

As soon as the ceremony was over, we headed back to Lexington Country Club for the reception. Doug and Glenn from Doug Smith Designs and Events coordinated every aspect of the day with absolute perfection. Beautiful flowers highlighted every table and so many small details made this wedding incredible. And did you see the clear tent in the wedding video? We loved how beautiful everything looked on the back side of the clubhouse, and guests were treated to delicious drinks and food under the starts on an absolutely gorgeous summer evening.
