Matt and Ginny were married on June 11, 2016, at the Polo Barn at Saxony Farm in Lexington, Kentucky and chose Reel Special Productions to capture their wedding video. Check it out below.

Ginny wore a stunning gown for her beautiful wedding to Matt at the Polo Barn at Saxony Farm in Lexington, Kentucky.

We LOVED meeting with Matt and Ginny last year. They were busy in the planning process but had a venue booked and knew exactly what they wanted with their wedding video. The thought of filming a wedding at the Polo Barn at Saxony Farm had us super excited, and we basically fell in love with this couple when Ginny told us she was a teacher (just like Brittany!) and Matt shared that he was one of the owners of Local Taco (we both love that restaurant sooo much!). But more importantly, Matt and Ginny are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet so we knew it was going to be an AMAZING wedding!

We first arrived at the Polo Barn at Saxony Farm where the Ginny, Matt and their bridal party were all getting ready. Before heading into the bridal suite, we had to capture some beautiful aerial footage for the wedding video (this is always one of Ryan’s favorite parts of the day!). As expected for a mid-June wedding, it was hot and sunny but we were thrilled there was no rain in sight! After capturing some stunning views from above, we headed in to see Ginny and all of her girls as they were getting ready. Talk about a bridal suite full of beauties! Ginny had her closest friends, sorority sisters and her sister there to help celebrate her special day. Ginny was excited, a bit nervous and definitely ready to see her groom…it was precious! She looked sooooo beautiful and wore the most stunning wedding gown.

To say that Matt was excited is an understatement. Before he headed out to see his bride for the first look, he opened a special gift and read a letter she wrote to him. There wasn’t a dry eye around when he read those precious words from Ginny. Moments like these are such a treasure to capture for the wedding video; we knew these two were deeply in love with one another and SO ready to be married! Once Matt finished reading his letter and opening his gift (a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle!!), he headed down to the beautiful barn where he would see his bride for the first time on their wedding day.

The Polo Barn at Saxony Farm is one of Lexington’s most beautiful wedding venues.

We know. We know. We talk about first looks and how awesome they are, but really. Out of all the moments in the day, this is one of the only times the bride and groom get to share some quiet time together and it is so important for us to help give them space to enjoy that moment. We loved Matt’s reaction when he saw Ginny and feel we captured his excitement pretty well on the wedding video. Soon after they shared their first look, we tagged along side Spectrum Photography to capture some fun shots of the bride and groom. We also loved filming their ginormous bridal party (even though it was a little bit like herding cats on a few occasions…lol!). The girls were all dressed in beautiful pink gowns and the boys looked good in their tuxedos and sunglasses!

Soon after the formal pictures were done it was time for the ceremony to begin. The scenery at Saxony Farm seemed to be straight out of a magazine. Beautiful wooded doors graced the entrance where guests walked through to their seats. Once guests were seated, the bridal party made their entrance. As Ginny walked down the aisle, we could barely hold it together because Matt’s reaction was priceless! The tears were streaming down, and his smile stretched from ear to ear! THIS is why we love filming wedding videos…so much emotion (or “all the feels” as the kids say)! The ceremony was incredibly special because Matt’s dad served as the officiant. He challenged them to both love one another and seek God’s love, to build one another up and hold their vows dear to their heart. And before we knew it, Matt and Ginny said their I dos and sealed it with a kiss!

The reception was also held at the Polo Barn at Saxony Farm and we can’t say enough amazing things about this venue. It is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. And, Angela Sallee with Bit by Bit Events did a phenomenal job as the wedding planner for this first-class event! The space was immaculate and hundreds of family members and friends gathered together for an incredible evening. Each table featured beautiful centerpieces with cascading flowers, and each place setting had themed sugar cookies as a special treat for the guests! Of course, Local Taco catered alongside Stella’s…It was outstanding to say the least!

Guests danced the night away to the Nashville-based Jimmy Church Band after eating delicious cake by Linda Mashni. Every piece of this day was absolutely incredible. The colors, the entertainment, Angela’s amazing wedding planning…it was simply perfect and without question one of our favorite weddings to date!
