Phillip and Hannah were married on April 1, 2017, in Knoxville, Tennessee, and chose Reel Special Productions to capture their wedding video. Check it out below.

Knoxville Church Wedding

Phillip and Hannah were married at Central United Methodist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee.

This wedding was pretty special to us. For some quick history on this sweet bride, Hannah and Brittany have been best friends ever since they attended high school together back in Knoxville (Brittany’s hometown). When you’re young, you dream of the day you’ll meet “the one” and live happily ever after and as they grew through the years, Brittany prayed that God would place the perfect man in Hannah’s life to honor and love her the way she deserved. To see God answer this prayer brought tears to her eyes. You all, God is so, so good!

When Hannah called Brittany to ask her to be a bridesmaid in her wedding, she had some pretty special news to share with her, too. Hannah asked Brittany to stand by her side and she agreed as long as she didn’t mind having a very preggo bridesmaid! Brittany and Hannah were both praying that the baby would hold off on her arrival until after the wedding so she could be in the wedding and Ryan could produce the wedding video!

We felt pretty honored that Phillip and Hannah wanted us to film their wedding. Ryan was a CHAMP and pretty much filmed the whole wedding weekend himself since Brittany was a bridesmaid. We wanted this wedding highlight video to be just perfect and knowing Hannah and and Phillip have a flair for all things vintage, so we added in some Super 8 footage to help capture ALL the feels from this incredible day! Ryan even went down to the Tennessee River to capture some aerial footage of downtown Knoxville. It was a perfect weekend and we were super honored to be a part of it in so many ways.

The wedding day started at Central United Methodist Church where the bridal party got ready. The boys were on one end of the hall while the girls were on the other end. Hannah arrived with her hair perfectly done and all she had left to do was put on her makeup and slip on her beautiful white dress. She was pretty calm to be a few hours away from her ceremony and was super excited to see her groom.

The sanctuary at Central United Methodist Church was absolutely stunning.

Phillip and Hannah chose not to see each other before the ceremony, but they made sure to share their love for one another through handwritten letters. You all. Their story. It’s pretty incredible. Their paths have crossed multiple times since they were young and it wasn’t until a couple of years ago that Phillip caught Hannah’s attention and she agreed to go on a date with him. Their story is a sweet reflection of God’s love and perfect timing and you see it in the way they look at one another. Time seemed to fly by and before we knew it everyone was lining up for the processional.

The ceremony was held at Central United Methodist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the congregation as Hannah walked down the aisle. The moment they first saw each other was pure delight and joy. The minister was a dear family friend and you could tell from the wedding video that he was so honored to perform the wedding ceremony. He gave an amazing message and talked about the love Phillip and Hannah shared for one another. Soon after, Hannah’s father prayed an incredible prayer over the couple before they shared communion with one another. There’s no doubt that the Lord was honored through their ceremony and it was sealed with a perfect kiss as the minister declared them husband and wife.

The reception was also held at Central United Methodist Church. So many of Phillip and Hannah’s friends and family gathered to celebrate such an amazing day and we keep saying this, but it was just perfect. Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet meal as Phillip and Hannah took some pictures and we were able to capture some beautiful wedding video footage in that epic sunlight. We also had the opportunity to capture some sweet Super 8 footage of Phillip and Hannah with one of their very special guests, the Governor of Tennessee, the honorable Bill Haslam and his wife of 35 years, Crissy.

After Phillip and Hannah cut the wedding cake, they made their way to the stage in the reception space where they shared their first dance as husband and wife. Hannah also shared a first dance with her dad and Phillip danced with his mom. To conclude the wonderful evening, guests lined the stairs at the front of the church and cheered for the bride and groom during a beautiful bubble sendoff.
