Brittany and I had a wonderful time in St. Lucia over her spring break of 2015. As one might expect, we simply could not leave the cameras at home so we took plenty of photos and made this fun little highlight video of our trip. This St. Lucia travel video includes several timelapses and follows suit with previous travel videos we created including our trips to Aruba, Isla Mujeres, Mexico (several times…here’s another video) and St. Thomas / St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands).

Soon after landing on the island of St. Lucia, our driver (Peter) stopped along the side of the road and walked us up to this GORGEOUS view so we could snap a few pictures.
This was one of the first glances we had of St. Lucia. Absolutely beautiful, isn’t it?!
My bride and me just minutes after we landed on the island of St. Lucia. We were burning up in our cold-weather clothes, but I know this will be a photo we will treasure forever!
When we arrived on the island, Peter (our driver) went out of his way to make us feel special. We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience in St. Lucia.

Looking in from the entrance, the honeymoon suite was simply perfect for us.
The living room area was extremely comfortable.
The kitchen area had everything we needed for the week.
Each of the two honeymoon suites boasts a king size bed. LOVE!

The view from Rodney Bay Suites was absolutely spectacular. This was one of the aspects that really made the trip special for us!

Sailing around St. Lucia on the catamaran was a treat. We had the pleasure of seeing beautiful little towns like this one. Can you imagine living in such a paradise?
We were able to get some great photos of the Pitons from our catamaran. Check out those two gorgeous mountainous peaks!
Gros Piton and Petit Piton (aka the Pitons) are a must-see if you go to St. Lucia. We were smitten by the view from our catamaran!

I lifted my camera to get a closeup shot and saw my little lizard friend was just hanging out on the backside of this Lobster Claw (Heliconia rostrata).
If you go to St. Lucia, be sure to check out the botanical gardens on the island! WOW!
Apparently deep down in the pits of the volcano in St. Lucia, someone forgot to clean out the fridge because it reeked like rotten eggs!

The Pitons! Those two beautiful mountains are what St. Lucia is known for and now we know why! Absolutely breathtaking!
