Wedding Video Details
Cory and Sydney were married at the First Church of God in Morehead, Kentucky.
We arrived at the church a few minutes early so that Ryan could capture some gorgeous aerial footage for the wedding video. We soon entered the room where Sydney, her mom and the bridesmaids were finishing up with last minute touches. Sydney’s mom helped zip up her dress and fastened all the buttons and a couple of the bridesmaids helped her with her veil placement. It was so fun to see Sydney so excited for her first look with her groom! (and it was clear that Cory was just excited to see her)!
After walking around for a few minutes with the talented Stewart-Hunter Photography team, we scoped out the perfect spot for Cory and Sydney’s first look. Rain from earlier that day had somewhat limited our options for the location of the first look, but we loved where we ended up…in front of a stone and brick wall that also created a beautiful backdrop for many of the formal bridal party shots.
Before Sydney made her way out to greet her groom, we got to spend a few minutes alone with the groom and talked about his time thus far as an officer in the Army. As Cory waited patiently for his bride to walk up behind him, Sydney approached the pavilion in her stunning wedding dress. The look on Cory’s face was priceless when he turned around to see Sydney for the first time on their wedding day. We LOVE capturing this special moment for the wedding video and it was obvious that love was in the air!
The lovely couple recited their vows to one another in front of all their loved ones.
The ceremony was held at the First Church of God in Morehead, Kentucky, close to where Cory and Sydney attended college (Morehead State University). During the ceremony, Cory and Sydney read their own vows to one another (how could we not include some of those vows in the wedding video?! They were absolutely precious!). Cory and Sydney shared an intimate moment together as they lit the unity candle and listened to a special song sung by one of their friends. The minister shared a wonderful message that challenged the bride and groom to love one another unconditionally and to never go to bed angry (so important!). We absolutely wedding ceremony messages that challenge the couple — and us — to be the best husband or wife you can possibly be!
The reception was held at the Morehead Conference Center in Morehead, Kentucky. The grand room was beautifully decorated with roses and hydrangeas. A photo slideshow was playing in the background as guests found their seats while Cory and Sydney had pictures taken at some of their favorite places around Morehead State University. After guests enjoyed the first course of the meal, Cory and Sydney were introduced as the newly Mr. and Mrs. and immediately went into their first dance as husband and wife. Friends and family were treated to a fabulous buffet meal catered by Lundy’s Catering, and as the night progressed, we were able to capture some fun footage for the wedding video (such as Sydney’s sorority girls performing a special song for her).

Cory and Sydney were an incredible couple to work with and to be around. We admire the love they share and celebrate the fact that God brought them together many years ago. They are truly blessed and so were we for having the opportunity to capture all the special moments for their wedding video. Cory and Sydney, we wish you two the very best and will pray that God continues to bless your relationship for many years to come!
