David and Sarah were married on August 10, 2013 at The Ashley Inn in Lancaster, Kentucky and chose Reel Special Productions to capture their wedding video. Check it out below.
We first met Sarah at the “How Charming!” bridal show at Keeneland in January and within just a few minutes of talking with her we knew we had a special connection. Sarah had seen our work before and was excited to meet us, and as she began telling us about the plans for her wedding day we knew we would love the opportunity to capture her wedding video.
We arrived at The Ashley Inn right as Renaud Photography were taking shots of the bride and her family. Sarah was glowing with excitement and even though ominous storm clouds were moving towards us it seemed that nothing could wipe the smile off her face.
While Brittany continued to get footage of the bridal party, Ryan found his way down to the location where the ceremony would take place. We have filmed many wedding videos over the years, but only a few would compare to the absolutely breathtaking scenery that surrounded us at The Ashley Inn.
Minutes before the ceremony began, everyone’s prayers were answered when the skies cleared and the storms passed by. The ceremony was officiated by our friend KJ, a worship leader and pastor at Southland Christian Church in Lexington (which happens to be our home church!). The message he shared with the bride and groom focused on keeping Christ at the center of their marriage and served as a great reminder for other married couples on what matters the most in life.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour in the courtyard before heading into the large white pavilion where the reception was held. David and Sarah took time out of their evening to talk with guests and thank them for being a part of their wedding day. This provided us with a great opportunity to capture footage of the creative decorations and centerpieces for the wedding video.
After a delicious buffet meal was served, we were able to join Renaud Photography to get awesome footage of David and Sarah as the sun set in the background. After just a few minutes of capturing some fun moments between the newlyweds for their wedding video, we made our way back to the pavilion where the bride and groom danced the night away with their family and friends.
We loved capturing David and Sarah’s wedding video and had a wonderful time on this very special day.
