Eric and Aspen were married on June 14, 2014 at Georgetown Baptist Church in Georgetown, Kentucky and chose Reel Special Productions to capture their wedding video. Check it out below.
Wedding Video Details
Eric and Aspen tied the knot at Georgetown Baptist Church in Georgetown, Kentucky.
One handsome groom. One beautiful bride. Two people in love. Gorgeous Kentucky weather. Perfect day. We arrived at the church moments before Aspen’s mom zipped up her wedding dress. Ryan was able to capture some aerial footage of the beautiful architecture of the church, then we made our way in to hang out with the bride and her bridesmaids a few minutes before the first look. We were able to capture Aspen’s excitement on the wedding video as she was spending the last few minutes with her bridesmaids before her first look with Eric.
Eric stood on the alter waiting for his bride. Of course the first look is always a special and private moment, but how could Aspen’s bridesmaids not peek in through the church door windows? It was quite precious and so was the way Eric looked at Aspen as he turned to greet her after she tapped his shoulder. They embraced. They kissed. They hugged and then they prayed. These two love each other and this is more than obvious when looking at the wedding video. You know what’s also pretty special? The way they sought to honor God in their wedding ceremony. We can relate and cherish the times when we work with others who feel the same.
Eric and Aspen took a break from snapping pro wedding photos and posed for a selfie with their fabulous wedding party.
The ceremony was held at Georgetown Baptist Church in Georgetown, Kentucky, where Aspen’s family calls home. The sanctuary was an intimate setting with beautiful hydrangeas and roses decorating the altar, all crafted together by our talented friend Jessica Jones with Blooms n’ Blossoms. It was clear that this couple is loved by many as there wasn’t an open seat in the sanctuary by the time things got underway. Eric and Aspen wrote and shared their own vows so it was only natural that we would share excerpts in the wedding video. The vows were quite touching to say the least! There was no question that God brought this couple together and the story of how they met is pretty fun (if you don’t know, ask them sometime!).
The reception was held at the Hyatt Regency Lexington in the Patterson Ballroom in downtown Lexington. Long-stemmed roses adored the tables as well as beautiful blooms of white hydrangeas (Ahhhhhh!! We LOVE hydrangeas!). Guests enjoyed the cocktail hour and fun times with each other in the photo booth as they waited on the bridal party to arrive. Guests mingled and enjoyed watching a photo slideshow of Eric and Aspen from when they were young to their present life together. When the bride and groom arrived, Aspen’s Dad gave a special toast then dinner was served and the party began.
This magnificent cake was crafted by Tinker’s Cake Shop in Lexington, KY.
Before we left there were definitely some fun moments and sweet dance moves we captured for the wedding video! It’s no surprise that wedding guests were breaking it down thanks to the Jeff Gibson with Sound Travels. And of course we made sure to capture Tinker’s amazingly beautiful cake on the wedding video. After Eric and Aspen cut their pieces of cake, they made sure to smash it in each other’s faces…it was a priceless moment!
Eric and Aspen are a precious couple and were so much fun to be around. The day was simply perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything more in capturing this gorgeous wedding. Even though Eric and Aspen live in Cincinnati, we sure are glad they chose central Kentucky for their wedding location! Reel Special Productions was honored to capture their wedding video and our only hope is that they will cherish it and continue cherishing one another for years to come. Congratulations you two!
