Ted and Amanda were married on October 26, 2013 at Estes Chapel in Wilmore, Kentucky and chose Reel Special Productions to capture their wedding video. Check it out below.
It was the perfect fall day to film a wedding! Amanda is a Wilmore native and it only seemed fitting for her to say her “I do’s” to the love of her life in Estes Chapel. Amanda contacted us about a year ago to ask about filming her wedding video. My how time flies!
We first arrived at Amanda’s parents’ house where she grew up. Amanda was hanging out with all of her bridesmaids doing last minute touches before putting on her gorgeous lace wedding dress. Malicote Photography was right there beside us capturing the fun and exciting last minute prep pictures as we were capturing those same moments for the wedding video. Amanda was more than ready to see her groom for the first time.
Ted waited patiently for his beautiful bride with a rustic black barn in the background. Amanda walked down a long gravel driveway with anticipation of seeing Ted. With no hesitation, Amanda walked up behind him and turned him around so that he could see her and they could share a moment together. Their reaction to one another was priceless and you could definitely see their love for one another. With the sun shining brightly in the background, we were able to capture some awesome moments between Ted and Amanda, and even their dog Nelly, for their wedding video.
The ceremony was held at Estes Chapel. Family and friends gathered together to witness Ted and Amanda come together as one. During their ceremony scripture was read and a beautiful song was sung by one of her bridesmaids.
The reception was held at the Grand Reserve in Lexington. The entire room was full of different sizes and shapes of pumpkins. They truly did have the Grand Reserve perfectly decorated with fall-themed centerpieces and monogrammed letters throughout the reception. Here’s a little fun fact- they grew all of their pumpkins on their family farm. Guests enjoyed a buffet dinner followed by the first dances and tosses. Did you happen to see the groom’s cake in their wedding video? Ted is a big outdoorsman and loves all things that involve ducks and hunting.
Ted and Amanda were a great couple to work with. They were both a lot of fun and were all about enjoying their special day together. It was an honor to film their wedding video and work with them to capture one of the most important days in their lives.
