Jaron and Anna’s story is pretty much the sweetest thing ever. Anna was living in Tirana, Albania where she worked as an art teacher and Jaron was juggling his time with Dei Gratia Photography capturing weddings and traveling the world shooting for the U.S. State Department and the University of Tennessee Center for Sport, Peace and Society. For the last several years, action and adventure defined these two as they pursued their passions, but their lives took a beautiful turn when Jaron saw Anna sitting in a church pew just over a year ago. Anna had returned to her home in the States and was meeting some friends when Jaron noticed her. He struck up a conversation, and the rest, as they say, is history.

We have known Jaron for many years and we were so thrilled when he found the love of his life. Our first time meeting Anna was over dinner at Saul Good for a double date and we absolutely loved seeing how excited they both were to continue their adventures together as husband and wife. We were thrilled they wanted us to film their wedding video!

When the wedding day arrived, we met Jaron at Keeneland where he and Anna would share their first look. It was a brisk day in the bluegrass, but the sun was shining brightly and we found the perfect spot in the Keene Barn where Jaron and Anna could see each other for the first time on their big day. We put Jaron in the middle of the room with his back to the door and Anna made her way to him. As soon as the nervous and excited groom turned around, Anna was standing there with her ukulele in hand and she sang the sweetest song she had written for the love her of her life. The song was called “Leap Year” because Jaron and Anna were going to tie the knot exactly 366 days since they first met. How precious is that?! Jaron could not hold back the tears and neither could we. This day was such an incredible gift and it was so evident that God was shining down on these two. Here’s the full video of Anna singing “Leap Year” to Jaron on their wedding day:

After Jaron and Anna shared their first look, we captured lots of beautiful wedding video footage. You all. The lighting was so perfect. The way the sun was shining into the barn just took our breath away! It was easy to lose track of time with this couple and the stunning scenery. We also LOVED working alongside Alicia Fierro with Aesthetiica Photography. Capturing the wedding video is always a pleasure when working next to a talented photographer like Alicia. Her creativity and ability to find gorgeous light makes our job a lot easier, plus she is so much fun! Once we were done capturing footage at Keeneland, we headed to the ceremony location about ten minutes away.

Manchester Music Hall was the location for Jaron and Anna's wedding reception.

The ceremony was held at First Alliance Church in Lexington, Kentucky. This just so happens to be the place where Jaron and Anna locked eyes on one another and met for the very first time. The ceremony was accompanied by beautiful music and their vows to one another were so sweet and so sincere. The minister challenged them to support and love one another no matter what, and we’re confident Jaron and Anna will do exactly that. They both have a heart for the Lord and the ceremony was a sweet reflection of that as you can tell from the wedding video.

The reception took place at Manchester Music Hall in downtown Lexington. The space was perfectly decorated with an elegant winter theme. Jaron’s super-talented aunt Brenda designed and decorated the entire setting. She did an incredible job! Guests enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Gourmet Goodies which happens to be owned by Jaron’s amazing mom, Thelma! And here’s a fun fact…Thelma catered OUR rehearsal dinner way back in 2010 when we got married! In case you can’t tell, we just LOVE this family!

All the wedding guests had a fun time mingling and breaking it down on the dance floor. And did you see that crazy green character near the end of the wedding video? That hilarious moment was brought to you by one of Jaron’s best friends with Remix Education!

The entire day was absolutely perfect. Jaron and Anna were honored with love and affection from everyone close to them and more importantly, God was glorified through this wedding. Jaron and Anna, we absolutely loved filming your wedding. We hope that as you look back on your wedding video you will be able to relive and cherish your amazing day as if it were yesterday. We are so honored and grateful that you chose us to capture it and wish you all the best for many years to come!
