Ironwood Farm Wedding Groom Prayer Anwered

Josh and Lauren’s wedding reception was at Ironwood Farm in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Josh and Lauren. There really are no words for these two. We’ve followed their love story before it even began. Brittany worked with Lauren’s mom at an elementary school where the two grew close and spent time praying for Brittany to get pregnant (enter Willow into the picture two years later) and for God to give Lauren a special kind of love—someone she would be able to call her husband (enter Josh and Lauren’s wedding four years later).

Brittany grew to know Lauren and loved watching her relationship unfold with Josh. Our connection became even more special to us the day Josh contacted us to help plan and film his proposal. So many tears were shed that day because of how we got to witness God’s faithfulness for Josh and Lauren. So, I guess it’s fair to say that these two are pretty special to us and we could hardly wait for their wedding day to arrive.

It was a joy to be with Lauren and all her best friends and family as they prepared for the wedding. The day was calm and so peaceful. We loved how the bridesmaids hung out in their cute matching jammies, all the while chatting with Lauren and helping prep her for the best day ever.

Brittany stayed around to capture wedding video footage all the girls while Ryan slipped off to be with Josh and the guys. Both Josh and Lauren were so excited to see each other and moments before their first look, we were able to steal them away to have them read their letters to one another. Josh spoke of how God had answered his prayer to marry Lauren, and it was pretty much the sweetest thing ever. These moments were an absolute joy to capture for the wedding video!

First Look for Josh and Lauren

The first look between Josh and Lauren was so precious!

The first look with Josh and Lauren was perfect and beautiful. Josh was in awe, told Lauren she looked incredible, and then embraced her with a passionate hug and kiss.

It was a dream getting wedding video footage of these two! Their love for one another was truly something to behold and they have strived to center their relationship on Jesus (which was so apparent all throughout the day).

The ceremony took place at a local Baptist church. Their pastor led the congregation in a beautiful message that challenged both Josh and Lauren to remain faithful to one another, to be God’s best for each other, and to love as Christ loved the church.

The two shared communion together, sealed their vows with a kiss, and were announced as the new Mr. and Mrs. Josh Crews! We especially loved getting to film their sendoff from the church as all the wedding guests celebrated their new status…moments like that are what having a wedding video is all about!

The wedding reception was held at Ironwood Farm in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and it was one of the most beautiful venues we’ve ever had the honor of filming a wedding video! The barn was beautifully decorated with touches of green, pink, and ivory. Friends and family enjoyed time together eating a delicious meal, delicious cake (seriously some of the best we’ve ever had!), and of course, danced the night away! It was so much fun to celebrate with and capture footage for our sweet friends.
