Von and Haley were married on May 27, 2017, in Louisville, Kentucky, and chose Reel Special Productions to capture their wedding video. Check it out below.

Wedding at the Frazier History Museum rooftop.

Von and Haley were married atop the beautiful Frazier History Museum in Louisville, Kentucky.

Von and Haley are two of a kind. Down to earth, passionate, full of love and so incredibly thoughtful. They had known each other since 2010, and in 2015 Von got down on one knee to ask Haley to be his bride. And believe it or not, this awesome couple inquired with us two years ago about the possibility of filming their wedding video. Yes, you read that right…two whole years before their big day! When we first talked with them it seemed forever away, but the time flew by and we absolutely couldn’t wait for the big day to arrive!

Our first wedding video location for the day was at a beautiful and charming Airbnb close to downtown Louisville where Haley and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Haley greeted us with open arms and could not stop talking about how excited she was, not to mention all the texting we had been doing that morning leading up to our arrival. This girl was SUPER excited for us to be filming her wedding video and it meant the absolute world to us for her to be so giddy. After Brittany — one of the uber talented PinkLouLou girls — finished glamming Haley, it was time for her to slip on her stunning wedding dress. Before doing a first look with her girls, Haley read a sweet letter that Von had written her and opened her gift…the most beautiful pair of earrings! She was so impressed by Von’s thoughtful gift, and after she put the earrings on she opened the bedroom door to see her bridesmaids waiting on her. They were of course in awe and we’re pretty sure there might have been some tears shed! You’ll see it in the wedding video, but you all, Haley was absolutely stunning!

First Look between Von and Haley in Louisville

The first look between Von and Haley was definitely one of our favorite parts of their wedding day! Von’s reaction was absolutely priceless!

The first look. Yes, you know we love when couples do a first look on their wedding day! But this one….wow! When Von saw his bride for the first time, he was completely captivated by her. In that moment, it was as though Von had fallen head over heels in love with her all over again and it. was. precious. The first look was exactly how it was meant to be, and we knew after we saw their excitement that these two were the perfect pair!

The ceremony was held at the Frazier History Museum in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. Up until the ceremony the weather had been perfect, but we were all a little nervous about the rooftop ceremony as we saw storm clouds start to roll towards us. We prayed and wouldn’t you know it? God did his thing! The clouds broke and the rain stayed away! Thank you Jesus!

Haley and Von’s minister from Bloomington, Indiana conducted the most heartfelt ceremony. Instead of a unity candle, Von and Haley did something so amazing…they blended tiny pieces of glass together to represent the unity of their marriage, and the glass will be blown into a vase by the amazing folks at Louisville Glassworks! Isn’t that such a cool idea?!

The reception was also held at the Frazier History Museum. Friends and family celebrated the couple throughout the evening and several of Von and Haley’s closest friends gave the sweetest toasts. Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet meal, then the party really got started once the dance floor opened! I mean, did you see some of those moves on the wedding video? The dancing was E.P.I.C.!

The night ended with a fun sparkler send off in front of the Frazier History Museum, and guests cheered as Von and Haley made their grand exit in the most spectacular 1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III.

The sparkler sendoff in Louisville

The couple had a magical sparkler sendoff on Main Street in front of the Frazier History Museum in Louisville.

Von and Haley, we absolutely loved filming your wedding! We hope that as you look back on your wedding video you will be able to relive and cherish your amazing day as if it were yesterday. We are so honored and grateful that you chose us to capture it and wish you all the best for many years to come!
