Zaen and Jess were married in a beautiful wedding at Castle & Key Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, on October 17, 2020, and Reel Special got to capture their wedding video.
Zaen and Jess’ original wedding plans were foiled by the COVID-19 pandemic, but thankfully, that didn’t stop them from finding a beautiful path to the altar in front of their closest loved ones.
This sweet couple met on Bumble and their first date was to the dog park. Zaen said he knew right then he would marry Jess, and it was so evident on their wedding day that their love runs deep for one another.
Zaen and Jess chose to have their wedding at Castle & Key Distillery. Formerly the Old Taylor Distillery, this property was impeccably restored as a tourist attraction with a peristyle spring house, sunken gardens, and castle-like buildings adorned with turrets. Needless to say, there was no shortage of inspiring locations to do portraits and capture beautiful wedding video footage of this amazing couple!
The wedding ceremony took place shortly before dusk in the sunken garden, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Zaen and Jess were pronounced husband and wife and their parents, siblings, and closest friends were there to witness the incredibly special occasion.
Our evening concluded by capturing family portraits and a few sunset shots with the newlyweds. The fall foliage provided a stunning backdrop for the wedding video footage, and the overwhelming happiness on Zaen and Jess’ faces resulted in one of the most captivating films we’ve had the privilege of filming.
