Charlie and Erica were married on September 18, 2021, at Maypop Fields in New Tazewell, Tennessee, and Reel Special captured their wedding video!
Charlie and Erica are two of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, and their love story is even sweeter. They met on a popular dating app, although Erica had never dated anyone so it’s fair to say that God had something awesome planned when she and Charlie both swiped right for each other. The two went on their first date, and in their wedding video interview, they both said they knew right away there was something different and special about the other.
Their relationship continued to grow, eventually leading to what turned out to be an absolutely beautiful wedding day amidst the rolling hills of Tennessee. We arrived at Maypop Fields Wedding and Event Venue a bit early to capture some aerial wedding video footage, then headed to the Airbnb on the bank of Norris Lake which Erica had booked for her and her bridesmaids’ preparations. The girls were having fun line dancing and enjoying their time together before everyone headed to Maypop Fields for the festivities to begin. Erica decided to get her dress on at the venue, so we were able to get some stunning footage with her and her Mom inside the magnificent white barn. Erica also did a first look with her Dad and her bridesmaids there, which we loved capturing for her wedding video!
Before long, it was time for the wedding ceremony to begin, so we got in position and made sure we had all the right angles to capture Charlie and Erica’s reactions to seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day. Y’all, it was such a special moment…Charlie was clearly smitten with his bride, and you could just see the love between them as they looked at each other throughout the ceremony.
When the ceremony concluded, we worked alongside Jenna Lindsay Photography to capture wedding video footage while Jenna captured photos of Charlie, Erica, and their closest loved ones. After the portraits were done, we headed back to the barn and the reception got underway. The bridal party and newlyweds were introduced, and the guests were treated to a delicious buffet dinner before moving into the special dances and toasts.
The evening concluded with Charlie and Erica sharing their last dance all by themselves on the center of the dance floor, followed by a sparkler sendoff surrounded by their friends and family cheering for them on their way to newlywed bliss.
