Kyle and Taylor were married on January 27, 2018 in Paducah, Kentucky and chose Reel Special Productions to capture their wedding video. Check it out below.
The Grand Lodge on Fifth was a spectacular venue for Kyle and Taylor’s beautiful Paducah wedding.
This sweet couple’s love story started way back in high school, and fifteen years later they were standing across from one another saying their “I do’s.” Kyle and Taylor have been together through a lot of life’s ups and downs, but their love for one another is what kept their relationship growing strong. It was so evident that these two are best friends. Soul mates. Truly a happily ever after kind of couple! We were so grateful they chose us to capture their wedding video for their best day ever!
We first arrived at The Grand Lodge on Fifth in Paducah, Kentucky, where Taylor and her bridesmaids were getting ready. This multi-level space was the perfect venue for all the wedding festivities. The girls stayed overnight on the top level of the lodge and provided space where they had their hair and makeup done. Laughs and smiles filled the room as we captured footage for their wedding video, and there were plenty of tears when Taylor read the letter that Kyle had written her on their wedding day. Taylor was full of emotions as she reflected on everything that led up to her wedding day, and when the moment arrived for her to put on her dress she was beaming with joy and excitement. And did you see this fairytale gown Taylor chose for her special day? It was a complete stunner and had us “ooh-ing” and “ahhh-ing” the whole entire day!
Once the guys arrived, we did a quick interview with Kyle and had him share the story about how he proposed to Taylor. While it drove Taylor crazy, over the years Kyle would fake a proposal by using Dove candy wrappers into a ring shape and he would ask her to marry him. Of course, she quickly said “No!”…until his candy wrapper proposal actually turned into the real thing! Kyle knelt down on one knee with a gorgeous ring (not made of chocolate wrappers) and as soon as Taylor saw he was serious, she couldn’t contain her happiness!

Kyle and Taylor’s first look was soooooo dreamy! Kyle stood at the entrance of The Grand Lodge, just underneath the most beautifully decorated doorway covered greenery and white roses. Taylor gracefully walked toward her groom and had him turn around just as she went through the door. It was one of those magical moments you can hardly put into words, but when we looked back at the footage our hearts definitely skipped a beat!
Paducah has so much charm and this venue sure didn’t disappoint. The ceremony took place on the second level of The Grand Lodge, and the candlelight and décor made for a warm wintery feeling as guests entered to take their seats. The minister gave a beautiful and heartfelt message that challenged the couple and encouraged their love for one another. Taylor and Kyle shared their vows and sealed it with a kiss…they were now husband and wife!!!
The reception was also held at The Grand Lodge. Guests were treated to a fun cocktail hour after the ceremony and mingled around the first floor while the bride and groom soaked in their newlywed status with their closest friends and family. Once the cocktail hour was over, guests returned to the second level where they celebrated with Kyle and Taylor. The dance floor heated up quickly thanks to the Remedies, an amazing band from Nashville! We loved seeing everyone on the dance floor having such a great time…it’s always one of our favorite parts to capture for the wedding video! The celebration was topped off with a wild sparkler sendoff for the bride and groom!
