It was the fall of 2012 when Trent and Bobbie booked with Reel Special Productions to film their wedding video. June 22, 2013 was a popular date on our calendars and we received several wedding video inquires, but Trent and Bobbie booked us early and we were elated to have the opportunity to capture their special day.

We first arrived at Bi-Water Farms where Trent and Bobbie wanted to do their first look.  Our good friends and talented photographers Matt and Kelsey with Malicote Photography were individually capturing preparations of both the bride and groom prior to their first look so we scoped out some good spots and were ready to role as soon as everyone arrived. (Most wedding photographers and wedding video producers love doing a first look because it gives us an opportunity to capture an incredibly special moment not to mention some very unique shots before the ceremony and reception begin.)

Bi-Water Farms is a beautiful open 184-acre farm with rich history. There is a farm store on location with fresh produce and flowers that were quite beautiful. The farm runs alongside a small river that definitely added to the beauty of this site. Even though it was a typical hot summer day, there was a nice breeze that was steady throughout the day and made Bobbie’s dress flow beautifully in the pictures and wedding video captured. The first look was indeed a special moment underneath a beautiful shade tree on this sunny summer day.  After getting awesome footage of the first look, the bridal party arrived in style to be a part of the fun creative photographs captured by the Malicotes.

As we transitioned to the Cardome Center to prepare for the ceremony, we quickly learned there had been an accident on a nearby interstate which held up many of the guests from arriving on time.  The ceremony was pushed back to allow more time for guests to arrive and with that the sun had time to set which created the picturesque landscape for a beautiful ceremony that was absolutely perfect for their wedding video.  The ceremony was short, sweet and simply perfect for Trent and Bobbie.

The reception was also held at the Cardome Center, one of the oldest and most historic properties to that area. While there are various spots on the property where weddings are held, Trent and Bobbie chose the rustic, black barn with an outdoor setting that showcased their southern hospitality and welcoming personalities to a “T.” Reel Special Productions was able to capture the warm-vintage style reception in a way like no other wedding video we’ve filmed before. We had so much fun!

Trent and Bobbie were an amazing couple to work with. Their genuine love for one another was displayed continuously throughout the day and Reel Special Productions was blessed to have the opportunity to capture their wedding.
