Addison and Kayla were married on November 2, 2013 at Third Baptist Church in Owensboro, Kentucky and chose Reel Special Productions to capture their wedding video. Check it out below.

We were pretty excited to film Addison and Kayla’s wedding and grew even more excited after receiving the originally-designed and beautifully-crafted invitation in the mail before the big day. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, we chatted about wedding video details with Kayla and could tell she was all smiles and filled with pure joy. We listened closely as she shared all the special ideas with us, and since this was our last wedding of the year to film, we wanted to make sure we captured every single moment of this uniquely-designed wedding.

We first arrived at the church where Kayla was spending precious moments with her bridesmaids and some of her family. There were just a few last minute preparations before Kayla was ready to put on her fairy tale wedding dress. In the meantime, we were able to set up their first look spot and capture their rings for the wedding video. The anticipation of Kayla and Addison seeing each other was absolutely priceless!

Addison waited for his bride-to-be in an open area with beautiful stained glass windows in the background.  When Kayla walked slowly up behind Addison, her smile stretched from ear to ear and she was beaming with excitement. Addison immediately embraced her and they shared some private time together before the rush of events began. This wasn’t the only first look of the day, though. Kayla wanted to have a special first look moment between her and her dad. It was clear their relationship was pretty special and we had the honor of capturing it in full on the wedding video.

The ceremony took place at Third Baptist Church in Owensboro, Kentucky. The sanctuary was gracefully decorated like an enchanted forest and flowers decorated the aisle ways with a tea-lit lamppost at each pew. Music played at various points throughout the ceremony and we sung a congregational hymn (and just in case you’re wondering, yes, even the videographers sang along, too!).

The wedding message in one word: Incredible! Addison and Kayla shared their own wedding vows and the minister delivered a heart-wrenching message that gave an amazing picture of how marriage should be a reflection of God’s love. Reel Special Productions captured it all on their wedding video.

The reception was held at the Owensboro Country Club, located just minutes from the church. Tables were decorated throughout the many different rooms of the country club. It was evident that Addison and Kayla had a special relationship with their wedding guests. They made sure to take time throughout the evening to chat with family and friends and share their night with everyone celebrating. Each table featured caramel apples, fresh fall flowers and the newlyweds’ initials carved on miniature tree stumps. Guests were treated with the opportunity to roast marshmallows at the s’mores station. Sweet pies and cake were served after guests enjoyed an immaculate buffet of delicious food.

Addison and Kayla shared their first dance to the Beauty and the Beast theme song (and did you happen to catch the red rose in the glass dome seen in the wedding video? It sat on the bride and groom table behind Addison and Kayla as they danced together). There were so many special touches to this wedding; in fact, there were too many to name them all!

Needless to say, but this was such an awesome wedding for us to end the year on. Not only was the couple a joy to capture, but we felt God’s presence and believe many others did, too!

Addison and Kayla, you were an amazing couple to work with and we’re so grateful that you chose us to capture your wedding day. It was an honor to film your wedding video and we hope you will treasure the memories of your wedding day with a little help from Reel Special Productions!
