On our way to the Dave Matthews Band concert at Riverbend in Cincinnati, I decided to take my wife and my camera to the Newport Aquarium in Newport, Kentucky. In about an hour and a half I was able to get plenty of footage while learning quite a bit about the new Canon body; most all the shots were captured at 60 FPS then dropped to a 24p timeline in Adobe Premiere. I primarily used my Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 and the trusty 70-200 2.8.
This brief video isn’t meant to serve any other purpose than to provide me with a reference point years down the road so I can say this was really my first project with the Canon 5D Mark III. I am definitely still getting a feel for this new beast of a camera, but I’m pretty pleased with my first rendering from it!
