We had the honor of capturing the sweetest engagement proposal for Josh + Lauren at Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate.
Josh chose Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate, as the spot where he wanted to pop the forever question to his girlfriend, Lauren.
Ashland is one of the most beautiful gems in the South.
Josh and Lauren were driving in from Bowling Green, Kentucky,
so we arrived a few minutes early to help set the stage for Josh’s proposal.
Lauren’s was on a mission to pick up a cookbook for her Mom (this was the cover story and her Mom was in on the plan, of course!).
When Lauren walked up to the front door of the gift shop, she saw a note with her name on it.
The note instructed Lauren to make her way to the garden, which was just a short walk from the gift shop.
Lauren walked all the way to the garden’s edge where Josh was anxiously waiting to ask a very important question.
After sharing the sweetest words with the love of his life, Josh dropped down on one knee and asked Lauren to marry him.
It was an emphatic “Yes!”
