Bo and Alexis were married on July 5, 2014 at Huber’s Orchard, Winery, and Vineyards in Starlight, Indiana and chose and chose Reel Special Productions to capture their wedding video. Check it out below.
Wedding Video Details
It was an incredibly beautiful day for a wedding! We arrived at Huber’s a little earlier than scheduled so that we could scope the place out and capture some aerial footage for the wedding video. Buying some freshly picked peaches and blueberries from their market was just an added bonus for this trip. We’d never been to this venue before and to say “it’s awesome” would be quite an understatement. Bo and Alexis sure did pick a perfect place to get married!
A little while after we arrived, we met Alexis, her mom, and bridesmaids in the bridal house at Huber’s as they were getting ready to put their dresses on. All the girls were so excited for Alexis and she was nothing but giddy! We were able to sneak away to a side room in the house to capture footage of Alexis’s mom lacing up her dress for the wedding video. The pearl necklace that she wore was a special touch to her gorgeous dress. This was actually her mom’s pearl necklace that Alexis’s father gave to her recently as a gift. Alexis wanted to make sure it was a part of her wedding day to symbolize the unconditional love that has been shown between her mother and father. After Alexis’s mom finished lacing up her dress, final touches were made and Alexis was ready for her first look with her dad.
Following the special time that Alexis had with her dad, she was ready to begin pictures with her bridesmaids down by the pond. Fun shots were captured alongside Payne Photography for the wedding video. Since they weren’t seeing each other before the wedding, Alexis just spent time with her bridesmaids before the ceremony while we captured footage of Bo with his groomsmen. You wouldn’t be able to tell this by watching the video, but Bo carried in his pocket two coins that were his late great-grandfather’s. The two coins were very special and symbolized an important time period in his great-grandfather’s life.
The ceremony and reception were both at Huber’s Orchard, Winery, and Vineyard. The ceremony was arranged on the side of Huber’s Plantation Hall where many friends and family gathered to watch the two become husband and wife. Something pretty special about the ceremony was the minister, “Pawpaw”, Bo’s grandfather. He used a bible that belonged to Alexis’s grandpa to perform the ceremony. The two grandfathers have been close friends for several years, traveling and worshiping together. The closeness between these two families has continued since then and it was apparent throughout the wedding day. This relationship is what initially brought Bo and Alexis together. And, did you happen to see her bouquet? In it was a combination of her own flowers, her mother’s flowers from her wedding day, and Bo’s mother’s flowers from their wedding day. For Alexis, this represented two families becoming one.
The reception was located in Huber’s Plantation Hall on site at Huber’s Orchard, Winery, and Vineyard. Each table was beautifully decorated with touches of pink rose pedals along with other unique pieces, some of which represented the good ol’ state of Texas where Bo grew up. Guests enjoyed choosing food from four different dinner stations all before the bride and groom came in to cut their cake. Did you happen to catch the father-daughter dance on the wedding video? This was a surprise for all when Alexis and her dad started breaking it down to a mix of different songs. Bo and Alexis had a fun time dancing the night away with friends and family before their glow-stick send off!
Bo and Alexis are a very sweet couple. We enjoyed being a part of their day and capturing special footage for the wedding video in such a beautiful location. Friends and family all made this day fun for the newly Mr. and Mrs. We hope they will enjoy watching their wedding video and hope that it reminds them of their perfectly planned day.
