It was quite the perfect day for a wedding in the Bluegrass! We first arrived at the Seelbach Hilton in downtown Louisville where Erin and her bridesmaids were finishing up with their last minute touches. We were able to capture some great footage for the wedding video of Erin’s dress along with her bridesmaids’ dresses and stepped out to get some shots of the groom and his groomsmen while the bridesmaids got dressed. Erin looked just beautiful and you could tell she was excited and a bit nervous moments before she was set to have her first look with Michael.

Michael and Erin’s first look was a private moment overlooking the magnificent Seelbach Hilton lobby. No one else besides the photographers and us were around to see the look on Erin’s face as she tapped Michael on his shoulder. Michael turned around with the widest smile on his face as he saw his bride for the first time that day…it was precious! They embraced and shared a special moment with one another before the rest of the wedding festivities began. We were able to work alongside Chris and Jessie with Kriech-Higdon Photography to capture some cool shots for the wedding video right outside of the Seelbach Hotel as they were preparing to load up the wedding party on the trolley (side note: the photographers were WONDERFUL to work with…so nice when photogs understand how to work in tandem with videographers…these two were truly a blessing to be around AND we shared the same anniversary…October 23rd!).

Once Michael and Erin finished up pictures at the Seelbach, everyone hopped on a chartered trolley to take a the bridal party to some fun spots around Louisville to capture more photos and video before heading to the ceremony location. We were able to capture some fun shots of Michael with his groomsmen for the wedding video as well as Erin with her bridesmaids.

After their first look, Michael and Erin ventured downtown to get some beautiful wedding shots before the ceremony.

The ceremony and reception were both at Whitehall House and Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky. Ryan was busy capturing footage for the wedding video of the gardens where the ceremony would take place while Brittany was on the front porch of the mansion capturing footage of Michael and Erin with their family. As all of this was going on vendors worked tirelessly to complete the perfect final touches to the gorgeous reception area.

The ceremony was located in the gardens at Whitehall. Beautiful green trees and cascading flowers adorned the outdoor veune to perfection. The weather was just spectacular and the string trio added a delightful sound that played in the background at the start of the ceremony. Family and friends gathered closely to watch Michael and Erin come together as husband and wife. The ceremony was short and sweet, but at last, Michael and Erin were married! Soon after the ceremony, the newlyweds joined guests inside the Whitehall Mansion for a fun cocktail hour to get their party started!

The outdoor reception took place under an incredibly beautiful decorated white tent. String lights hung from the sides of the tent to the very top and touches of pink and peach highlighted each table. Much of the centerpiece décor featured on the wedding video was hand painted by the bride’s talented sister (who was also the maid of honor). We love when weddings have creative, personal touches like that! Guests enjoyed eating from different food stations throughout the reception area while sipping on their favorites drinks of choice. Michael and Erin had a cupcake tower located in the Whitehall mansion, so once guests finished eating they were invited to go inside and grab a cupcake or two.

The reception was also at Whitehall with a delicious meal by Masterson's Catering.

Michael and Erin were a very sweet couple and were were honored that they chose Reel Special Productions to capture their wedding video. We had a great time being a part of their celebration with friends and family. They definitely couldn’t have picked a better location or a more perfect day. Everything seemed just right for their special day and we hope they will cherish the memories they made while watching their wedding video. Cheers to the bride and groom!
